Opera is available in print at newsstands and in shops worldwide, but there are lots of benefits to being a subscriber—and these go beyond getting each copy delivered to your door.
Each subscription, whether print or digital, includes free and complete access to our online archive, which goes all the way back to our very first issue in February 1950. The archive is fully searchable, so you can spend hours browsing all that has been written in our pages about your favourite work or performer. Try it below!
Never miss an issue! We currently deliver print copies to valued subscribers in more than 65 countries. Our customer service team are on hand to help with any problems – if your copy is lost in the post, just get in touch and we will happily send a replacement straight away. If at any time and for any reason you wish to cancel your subscription, we offer a full refund on unsent issues.
Our digital edition is provided by Exact Editions, who produce fully searchable digital versions of magazines that look exactly like their print counterpart (thanks to our A5 format, if you read Opera on an iPad or tablet it will be the same size as it is on paper). Digital subscriptions are available through Exact Editions directly or through ESCO, our subscription agency.
As a digital subscriber you can read Opera on your computer, laptop, phone or tablet. Read it online via the Exact Editions website, or by downloading either the Opera app (which gives access to the magazine) or the Exactly app (which can be used for all Exact Editions titles). Both apps are free to download.
You will need your subscription/account code (this is printed on the address sheet when
your magazine arrives in the post). Click here to go to the Exact Editions website. Then enter:
